The
market offers different equipment to perform watertightness tests
in endothermic cylinder heads, but none of them effectively simulates
the conditions of the head when it works in motor vehicles.
At present, with the creation of engines of new generation, where
the technology of the materials adopted and their high performances
are brought to exasperation, the watertightness test achieves a basic
importance during the engine rebuilding process.
